K-Pop club held their first meeting of the year on Friday, Oct. 25 decorating toploaders and to discuss future meetings and dance performances. Club officers laid out photocard sleeves, toploaders and a variety of decorative stickers for students to use.
“I think it was a really fun opportunity,” senior Shriya Kulkarni said. “Because I always see online people decorating toploaders, so I think it was pretty fun and there’s lots of variety too. They had one last year, but they didn’t have the actual hard plastic [sleeves], they just had the soft ones.”
K-Pop club’s goal focuses on bringing together a diverse group of people to bond over and perform Korean pop dance.
“I think [the club] is really fun,” Kulkarni said. “Because it’s not required that only Koreans can come. It’s really diverse and they provide fun opportunities like decorating toploaders and auditions for dances.”
Auditions for dance performances were due on Saturday, Oct 26. More information about dance auditions will be posted in the future on their Instagram, @_lokd_.
