Finding a community while also having fun, petting farm animals and playing a bunch of games. This is what Animal Science and Future Farmers of America (FFA) teacher Avery Shoss wants Halloween on the farm to be.
“It’s an Agriculture advocacy thing,” Shoss said. “So it’s members of the community but also student members of McNeil High School get to come out and enjoy it, people don’t know we have a barn so this is a good way to showcase that.”
With almost all of our clubs being at Halloween on the farm, it is also a place where you could find your path after college.
“You could find your future really. We have so many clubs out there who try to get people to join [their club],” Sophomore FFA Captain Tripp Parker said. “We have most of the clubs that McNeil and most of the groups out of McNeil that come out and help out.”
So if it’s to decide what club you want to join, become part of a new community, or just hang out, pet the animals, or play games. Come on down to the Agriculture Farm on Oct. 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
