Parents have been choosing to stop and drop off their children right by the gym instead of using the designated student drop-off area. This problem has increased traffic along Parmer, creating blockage and delays. As a result, student drivers and car riders are frequently arriving late to school. The change in drop-off behavior is affecting the smooth flow of the morning drop off for students and families. School officials are hoping to remind parents to use the proper drop-off zone to help reduce the traffic problem.
“The drop-off situation is causing delays, making me late for school.” said senior Selma Meddad.
