The Mavs baseball team made the playoffs for the second straight year this past Saturday with an 8-3 over Pflugerville.
Senior Sean Mason threw five innings to lead the Mavs to victory. Junior Cameron Terrell also hit well for the Mavs in the game going 3 for 3 at the plate.
With the win, the Mavericks were awarded the fourth seed in District 16-5A and will play Lake Travis in the first round of playoffs. Times are dates of the games are:
Game 1: Thursday, May 2, 7 p.m. at McNeil
