Seniors have the opportunity to return to the places where their education began through the Senior Walk ceremony. This event allows graduating students to walk through the places where their educational journeys began, and inspire the younger students watching.
There are three scheduled dates for the walk: Tuesday, May 19, at 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, at 1:45 p.m., and Thursday, May 21, at 10:00 a.m. Seniors participating are expected to wear their official graduation cap and gown and bring a valid photo ID, like a driver’s license or a school ID.
The event is not just about revisiting familiar places; it gives seniors a chance to think about their growth over the years. Meanwhile, younger students line the halls, cheering as the seniors walk by.
“It’s going to feel kind of surreal going back to our old schools,” senior Tien Phan said. “I remember being one of those kids, watching the seniors walk by us.”
