Cheer hosts annual drive benefiting children’s hospital
Mavericks cheerleaders will host its annual book drive again to benefit Dell Children’s Hospital. Last year, students donated more than 5,000 books.
Students can bring new or gently used children to young adult books until Nov. 20. There will be a box outside room C133 for donations. The organization that donates the most books will win a prize.
National Honor Society is also asking all their members to donate books. So far, they have collected almost a box full of books, with more books getting donated every day.
