Seniors Begin Registering To Vote
Seniors have begun registering to vote for the upcoming election on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Texas voter registration closes on Oct. 5.
“It’s just something that I felt I had to do,” senior Samhita Kosuru said. “I will do anything in my power to aid in my future.”
In order to register to vote, seniors must be 17 years and 10 months old, and 18 by election day. Kosuru registered right at that mark.
“We may use these platforms [Instagram and Snapchat], to express our beliefs, but it is still not enough to change the political system,” Kosuru said. “So, I believe that we should vote to have representation in our society.”
