PSAT Day Information
Sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT on Oct. 12 from 9:05 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Students with testing accommodations have until the end of the school day to complete the test. Students that score better than or equal to the top one percent of test-takers in Texas will qualify for recognition in the College Board National Merit Scholarship Program, which enables students to earn scholarships towards funding college tuition.
Test-takers will need to bring two No. 2 pencils with erasers, an approved calculator and their school ID. Students should also bring snacks and drinks for breaks due to the test’s time duration. Students that finish the test at 1:30 p.m. will have a combined lunch period and then go to the last class of the day.
A few days before the test, students taking the test will receive an email from school administration with their designated testing room number. Schedules for non-test takers will be posted on the McNeil High School website.
Your donation will support the student journalists of McNeil High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
