Eighth Grade Parent Virtual Orientation Meeting
The eighth grade parent virtual orientation meeting will be held at 6 p.m. over Google Meet on Nov. 30. The event is for parents of eighth grade students zoned to attend McNeil High School this upcoming school year.
The link to the Google Meet for the event can be found here and in the attached informational flyer shared to all eighth graders by Lead Counselor Annette Hanson via email. The Meet is limited to 500 participants and families are encouraged to use one device to join the meeting in order to allow other families to attend.
The event will assist parents and students when choosing freshman year classes and courses for future years. Parents can find the information covered during the meeting in this slide deck in order to better prepare for the event or to read if they couldn’t attend the event. The information at this meeting will also be shared with eighth grade students during middle school visits in January.
A video recording of the meeting will be posted on the McNeil counseling website and shared with student families by their respective middle schools.
Your donation will support the student journalists of McNeil High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
