AP Testing, Week 1 – Aariz and Callum

McNeil is getting ready for the Advanced Placement (AP) testing period, the first week of testing is set to take place from May 6 to May 10. The AP tests are college-level exams on specific topics. Depending on the score students may earn college credit.

“I’m a bit worried about the AP Spanish because of what the outcome will be, but I know I’m prepared,” senior Haven Alexander said. “I studied for the test through different resources our teacher gave us on College Board.”

AP coordinators at McNeil are ensuring that students are informed of the examination schedule through emails and reminders. Students will need to go to their designated testing locations indicated by the coordinators.

For students unable to test during the initial two full weeks of May, late-testing dates are available. These dates provide an opportunity for students to have more time to prepare for their exams.

As the testing dates draw near, students are reminded to come prepared and on time for their exams. It’s also crucial for students with overlapping exams to tell AP coordinators.
