‘I Frankenstein’ : A New World Hero

Frankenstein is not a monster anymore but a hero.

A sinister look. A huge screw piercing his head. Dark, dead skin. This cursed creature is known as Frankenstein. Frankenstein has been a familiar horror character for about 200 years. In the original book, Frankenstein is depicted as a monster who lusts after revenge for his creator because he abandons Frankenstein. Until now, Frankenstein should be a monster we should be  scared of. However, the new released movie, I Frankenstein  depicted Frankenstein as an immortal hero who fights for humans.

I Frankenstein is mostly about the war between good and bad. Frankenstein fights with the  gargoyle, against demons and finally with his heroic help, human beings can be safe.

The plot is great. I thought it was a great proposition to change Frankenstein from a monster to a hero. Heroizing Frankenstein brings forward a fresh point of view. While watching this movie, I couldn’t predict what would happen next because it is completely different from the novel. If the novel contains the idea of 19th century, then the movie focuses on developed scientific technology to reveal the secret of Frankenstein. The figures of the gargoyle and demons look vivid. Because I Frankenstein is also released in 3D, it could be enjoyed differently.

I Frankenstein is a good movie and its viewpoint which treats Frankenstein as human is impressive. However, some critics said that it could be boring and easily predictable. As there is absolute good and evil, people may be able to predict the ending in the first 10 minutes. This movie is a typical hero movie because of a meaningful lesson, action scenes and gorgeous computer graphics that entertain for 90 minutes.
