The Mavericks went head to head against the Westwood Warriors on Friday, Oct. 13 but fell 27-62.
“We put in our best that we could,” senior Kai Huang said. “I think that their offense played with a bit more power than we could stand.”
After last year’s homecoming win over the Warriors, the Mavs had hoped for a repeat performance.
“We’re trying our best to find what works for the team,” junior Jaden Weigand said. “Communication among the players has been a real struggle [all season].”
The Mavericks next play the Hendrickson Hawks Thursday, Oct. 19. at KRAC-Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex with a kickoff of 7 p.m
