The UNICEF Club’s first meeting will be next Tuesday, Sept. 5, after school in Mrs. Balfour’s room. This club is a chapter of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund organization. Each year, UNICEF develops missions to spread awareness for children in the community by participating in service activities and projects. Last year, the club focused on helping children with cancer by organizing a holiday toy drive to deliver toys to children staying at the hospital.
