There is a C-day planned for Friday, Oct. 13, due to the end of the first marking period. Students will have the opportunity to make up any missing or failed assignments and to talk to their teachers before grades become finalized in the Home Access Center. Classes will be 45 minutes long and students will report to lunch in their 6th period.

For more information on upcoming C-days, visit the McNeil website and view the A/B calendar.

Nikolas Russell, Life & Arts Editor
I am Nikolas Russell and this is my second year on the Trailblazer staff. I work as a reporter and the Life & Arts editor for the 2023-2024 school year. I have attended UIL for feature writing once and made regional. When I'm outside of school, I am either working my job at Whataburger or working out at the YMCA. I'm looking forward to a great year of newspaper!

This is my second year with newspaper staff and I’m hoping I can write even better stories than I did last year. Outside of school, I enjoy watching crime documentaries. I’m currently learning how to play guitar. I also love art and fashion.
