The first swim meet of the season will be held today at the Round Rock Aquatic Center at Cedar Ridge at 5:30 p.m. The meet is a Tri-Meet against Lake Travis and Rouse. The projected end time of the meet is 9 p.m.
Abby Bernero and Lauren Satori are both four-year Seniors for the varsity swim team.
“I can’t wait to get back in the pool to compete,” Satori said. “Our team always encourages each other. I’m excited to win some races.”
The Round Rock Aquatic Center is where the swim team has some of their practices, so having a meet in a familiar pool is something some swimmers are looking forward to.

“I am looking forward to competing as a team for my last year,” Bernero said. “I like swimming at the new aquatic center, too.”
