Mcneil’s varsity volleyball team played against Round Rock Christian Academy on August 30. McNeil was defeated by their opponent with a final score of 3-0.

“I think that we fought the entire game and never gave up,” senior Kalli Wooton said. “We continued communicating and trusting each other the whole time. I’m not disappointed in the outcome but I hope we can take this as a learning experience and work from there. I think, as a team, we need to work on bettering our serve receive in practice and create better setter-hitter connections.”

Next up, McNeil will be playing an away game against Cedar Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9.
